“I truly can’t say enough good things!”
Our experience with Ms. Amy has been so fantastic! When my son first started working with Amy, I truly thought we had a LONG road ahead of us. Turned out we only needed a little less than a year. I am still amazed by this! She made our weekly visits something that Logan looked forward to…he never felt like it was hard work because Amy made it so much fun for him. She has a wonderful way with children and she worked with him in such a loving and fun way. His confidence has grown so much through our experience. And to hear him speak now, you would never know he previously had any speech issues. We are thrilled with our results. And Logan now asks frequently when we can stop by just to see her and say Hi. I truly can’t say enough good things!

“Amy is a true gem!”
I have had the privilege of having Amy work with my son. Because of Amy, my son’s reading-level has significantly increased as well as his confidence! But she brings more than just that to the table–she really cares about him and his well-being. This is so evident as Amy welcomes you to start the session and my son is so excited to see her! She also goes the extra-mile to make sure you understand how your child is progressing and will communicate with you between sessions to keep you fully informed of your child’s progress. Amy is a true gem!
Veronica, Mother to Max
“Amy’s weekly sessions with my son made learning fun…”
My son needed more one on one learning time then a pre-k group setting could provide. Amy’s weekly sessions with my son made learning fun and gave him the positive encouragement and confidence he needed to be prepared to start kindergarten in the fall. I am so proud of him and so thankful to Amy for her hard work.
Leslie, Mother to Van
“I highly recommend her to anyone! “
Amy is wonderful! I came to her with a need for two of my children which she was able to take on all at once! In addition, she was able to work with both of my kids in a way that made them feel comfortable and want to succeed. I highly recommend her to anyone!
Wendy, Mother to Connor and Brooke
“It’s made a difference for all of us.”
Stacey and I wanted to thank you so much for the work you did with Jack and the way he is speaking now. There is never a time we ask him to repeat himself (unless he’s naming Pokemon characters because no one can understand that) and its very infrequent that we will ask him to repeat a word because he slipped and said “free” instead of “three”. It has been wonderful having long conversations with him and hearing him talk as a child should. We can’t thank you enough for your work, patience and most of all the fun experience you made this for Jack. Its made a difference for all of us.
Angelo , Father to Jack
“If your child is in need of speech therapy I HIGHLY recommend Amy Clayman!”
Amy Clayman is the best! She worked with my daughter for a year and helped her through her speech issues. Amy was able to, almost immediately, diagnose my daughter and implement a program tailored to not only her speech needs but also her personality! By using things she liked to play with, like cupcake games and iPad apps, my daughter stayed interested when she normally would have lost focus. When she was about finished with her therapy, we asked Amy to help her learn phonics to prepare her for Kindergarten and within 2 weeks my daughter had them down! Amy is wonderful with children and even better with their nervous parents! If your child is in need of speech therapy I HIGHLY recommend Amy Clayman!

“My son made progress in an atmosphere of fun and learning….”
Of all the therapists we tried in the past, Amy is truly the best!! My son made progress in an atmosphere of fun and learning….

“Look no further — you can’t find a better speech therapist than Amy!”
I truly believe “Miss Amy” was born to do this! She is incredibly creative with the ways she incorporates learning into fun and games. Every week, there is a new game or activity to keep my daughter interested and engaged, and Amy is great about encouraging her and giving positive reinforcement. Her personality is upbeat and welcoming with a voice that commands attention, yet in a non-threatening way. My daughter just loves her. It is clear Amy puts her heart into her work, and her enthusiasm shows each and every week we see her. She is solution and results-oriented, and when presented with a challenge, she caters to my daughter’s specific needs to find a method that works. She also provides us with tools and handouts to continue practice at home. Look no further — you can’t find a better speech therapist than Amy! She is truly special and has a gift to share!

“Ms. Amy’s philosophy of acting more as a parent coach was refreshing…”
My daughter was diagnosed with a severe articulation disorder at age 3. I was so concerned she would face life-long speech problems and issues. Then we found Ms. Amy! She immediately calmed my fears and became a true partner in seeking our daughter’s full potential. Ms. Amy was amazing with our daughter, always kept her engaged and entertained in the therapy process and quickly became the highlight of my daughter’s week. Ms. Amy’s philosophy of acting more as a parent coach was refreshing and armed us with everything we need to ensure our daughter stays on track. Thanks to Ms. Amy, after 6 months of speech therapy, our daughter is 100% more intelligible and loves her speech activities. If you want THE BEST, you want Ms. Amy!!!!
“We saw her grow leaps and bounds from where she started.”
My daughter was diagnosed with Language Impairment and was getting help from OCPS. However, she did not qualify to get help over the summer. We decided as a family to find a private therapist to work with her so she would not only lose what she learned in Kindergarten, but also could be more ready to learn in first grade. It was such a blessing to find Amy Clayman with Kidspeak! Before we even decided to use her (and pay her) , she would follow up with me on Siena and how her progress was! She would answer my questions, give me suggestions on how to help her and comfort me when I needed it. Once we began therapy with Amy, we fell in love with her even more. She made therapy fun for my daughter. We saw her grow leaps and bounds from where she started. But most of all, I appreciated how she allowed us to watch the therapy sessions so we could be involved with what she was doing with my daughter. She would even give us tools to allow us to work at home. If ever given the opportunity, I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a speech therapist!
Mother of Siena
“Our son excelled with Amy as his teacher.”
Amy worked with my son for a year. We have had many speech pathologists due to moving a lot, and Amy, by FAR was the best! She had appropriate lessons that matched his goals and always went above and beyond. She gave excellent, appropriate homework that my son enjoyed doing. Our son excelled with Amy as his teacher. We miss her greatly and still haven’t found a Speech Pathologist as thorough.
Jennifer, Mother to Griffin
“Amy immediately made them feel comfortable with her humor, enthusiasm, energy and compassion”
We had an amazing experience. My 5 year old twin children are very shy but Amy immediately made them feel comfortable with her humor, enthusiasm, energy and compassion. I highly recommend Amy Clayman.
Susan, Mother to Connor and Drue
“Amy is always patient, funny , friendly, and loving in her approach.”
Amy, was highly recommended to me in 2009 when I was looking for a speech therapist for our son. She is an extremely gifted teacher, and has become a true friend to our son and our family. Amy is always patient, funny , friendly, and loving in her approach. She is also, thorough, knowledgeable and 100% effective in teaching children how to overcome their speech delays and other challenges.
I could not have found any speech provider who was a better fit for us.
Everyone, I meet who has used Amy, tells me they found her to be the same with them.
She has an abundance of love for children that they respond to immediately. The progress my son made was remarkable, making up 1 year of delays in the first 6 months. The confidence he gained from being able to speak clearly, and be understood by anyone is priceless. He is entering kindergarten this fall. He is already reading beginner books, because of the “Lips Program”, Amy used with us for the last 6 months or so.
I could not recommend “Kidspeak Speech & Language Therapy”, any more highly than I have. Amy, is one of a kind !

“She is full of personality, caring, patient and 100% dedicated.”
“KidSpeak is the BEST. Amy J Clayman embodies all the wonderful characteristics it takes to work with children. She is full of personality, caring, patient and 100% dedicated. We are indebted to Amy for all the hard work, dedication and time she put into making our speech journey a positive and successful one. Brayden, my son, asked just the other day if we could go back to speech and see Mrs. Amy. “
Brandy E., Mother to Brayden
“Amy is creative, deeply conscientious, professional and hardworking.”
“It is with great pleasure that I recommend Amy Clayman from KidSpeak! Mrs. Clayman assisted my daughter Audrey for two years with extensive speech therapy. She is one of the best speech therapists we have ever had and was saddened when she and her family moved to Orlando. Amy is creative, deeply conscientious, professional and hardworking. My daughter learned so much from her. Amy spent countless hours teaching my daughter to speak and we are thrilled with my daughters progress. We thank you! I strongly recommend KidSpeak and am sure her new clients will be more than satisfied with her therapy!”
Tara, Mother to Audrey
“I will be forever grateful.”
“KidSpeak has brought my child from a crushingly shy, almost silent girl to a dramatically expressive, articulate and friendly child. She grew from being unable to repeat single syllables to speaking clear as a bell. A mile-a-minute, at that! I owe her ability to communicate and make friendships in these early years to Amy Clayman at KidSpeak Therapy. I will be forever grateful.”
Johanna, Mother to Nanette
“Ms. Amy made him feel comfortable from the start.”
“We love Ms. Amy!! Our son was very tentative about going to places away from us at that time in his life. He didn’t respond well to a speech therapy preschool setting. We were very discouraged and lost as to what to do. My husband found Ms. Amy on-line at Kidspeak during a late night “last ditch effort” search. It turned out to be the greatest experience ever. Ms. Amy made him feel comfortable from the start.
She makes speech therapy a lot of fun!! Our son loved the learning setting and was always happy to go, to do his homework , and to participate. Obviously, we were thrilled as well!
Dana E., Mother to William
“Amy is a very caring and a kind teacher.”
“My son Jake started seeing Amy a few months before he turned 3. Jake had virtually no ‘clear’ words. He said maybe 3 or 4 understandable words. In less than a year Jake was talking clearly and even using sentences. By the end of our time with Amy, Jake could retell a short story at preschool. Amy is a very caring and a kind teacher. The rapport that she had with Jake was amazing. She always made the sessions fun and Jake loved ‘playing’ with Amy. She is very loving and patient. I truly believe that Amy has found her calling in life. We hear daily from relatives and neighbors… “Wow, Jake is talking so well”. Without Amy’s guidance and knowledge, I do not believe that Jake would be as far along in his speech. “

“…her personal skills and ability to relate to my daughter were superb.”
“Amy was my daughter’s speech therapist for 1 year. Being a pediatrician, I researched different speech therapists and was very excited to see Amy’s credentials. Even more important was that her personal skills and ability to relate to my daughter were superb. My daughter had 75 speech errors and was 5% intelligible when she started with Amy at age 3 yrs 10 months. At the end of one year of therapy (once a week) she was 95% intelligible and had only 10 errors, most of which were age appropriate errors. I highly recommend Amy for any speech therapy
“I will definitely continue to work with Amy as our children’s speech and language needs change…”
“I highly recommend Amy Clayman to work with children who have speech and language needs. When we brought our almost 3 year-old son to see her for an evaluation, he was drooling excessively for no apparent medical cause. After a couple months of working with Amy, the drooling is completely under control, his speech has improved and he looks forward to his visits with her. I will definitely continue to work with Amy as our children’s speech and language needs change. Thank you!”
” I think that anyone who is looking for a speech teacher for their child can stop looking once they meet Amy.
“Tyler was born “tongue tied” and had a few speech issues that needed to be corrected. Amy was wonderful with him-he was always excited to go and see her and enjoyed the fun practice games she devised to help him master his “th” sounds. In four short months Tyler graduated from speech, largely due to Amy’s fun and motivating teaching style. I think that anyone who is looking for a speech teacher for their child can stop looking once they meet Amy.”
Heather Bucher, Mom of Tyler, Age 5
“The progress he has made in 6 months is amazing.”
“My 5 year old son was showing signs of some articulation issues. After speaking with his teachers and ent I knew the next step was to get him some help with his speech. I had originally scheduled an appointment with a local company that my insurer recommended. After doing some extra research, I stumbled upon Kidspeak’s website and decided to give Amy a call. I am a former teacher and I knew when I spoke with Amy that I had found what I was looking for. I scheduled an evaluation and was floored by her ability with kids. She speaks at the kid’s level and is able to keep them on task while accomplishing goals in a fun way. My son looked forward to his weekly sessions and Amy kept him motivated to work hard. I also learned tactics on dealing with him from an educational standpoint just by watching her in action. Amy was also dealing with my son’s Auditory Processing Disorder. She helped me out in becoming my son’s advocate so that I could deal with the school system to get accomodations for him. The progress he has made in 6 months is amazing. He is now confident in his speaking ability and has learned so many ways to function in his classroom with his APD. I can’t say enough about Amy-she is awesome!”
“…she always went over and far beyond the definition of a speech therapist.”
“Amy was our daughter’s speech therapist for 3 years. When we first met Amy our daughter was 2 ½ years old, had just been diagnosed with a hearing impairment and was talking at the level of a 12-18 month old. Although Amy’s official title was speech therapist she was so much more than that because she always went over and far beyond the definition of a speech therapist. Amy was always researching the current literature to make sure she could adapt her techniques to our daughter. She gave us daily updates and spent hours helping our daughter learn to talk. Amy is extremely organized and would make sure her lessons were so fun that Santi never even realized she was learning something. All she knew was that she was going to play with Miss Amy. It wasn’t uncommon to find Amy helping our daughter to communicate using a book that Amy made especially for her. By the time Amy had been working with Santi for one year her speech was on or above the same level as her mainstream peers. She is by far the best teacher/therapist our daughter has ever had and any child or family who is lucky enough to have her will soon realize what a gem they have found. With Amy’s help our daughter’s future is profoundly brighter.”
Mailissa Yamba-Butler Mother of Santi, age 7 with a unilateral hearing loss, fully mainstreamed
“Today people are shocked when they learn of Michaela’s hearing loss because they would never know it through her speech”
“Amy Clayman was my daughter’s speech therapist for 3 years. Amy was truly a God send for Michaela. Michaela has a severe hearing loss due to illness at 18 mos. old. By the time we discovered her hearing loss at almost 3 years of age she was desperately behind in her speech and vocabulary, as expected. Amy took Michaela under her wing and gave my daughter the gift of speech. Today people are shocked when they learn of Michaela’s hearing loss because they would never know it through her speech. Michaela is a vibrant active 9 year old little girl who excels at school, plays soccer, basketball and little league baseball with the boys (and holds her own!). All of this is possible because Amy is more that just a speech therapist. Amy builds self confidence, administers love and compassion, motivates and excites her students. Even now 4 years later Michaela truly misses her friend Amy, as do I. The world needs more people like Amy Clayman. There are really no words that can express how grateful we are to Amy or how truly wonderful she is or what an amazing human being she is.”
Heidi Zerbo Mother of Michaela, 8 years old, fully mainstreamed
“I was always welcome to sit in on the lesson and she took time to show me the technique (oral motor exercise) she was working on and explained how the exercises would support the end goal.”
“I contacted a local Speech school and on behalf of my son requested the services of a speech language therapist familiar with prompt therapy techniques. Amy contacted me to arrange an initial meeting and over the course of the next eighteen months was instrumental in helping both my son and daughter overcome their speech issues. Amy is upbeat and energetic. She engages the children in their work through play, making repetitive and sometimes frustrating exercises actually fun. My son had some t/k and d/g articulation issues and in less than two months, Amy was able to help Liam produce the “K” sound when previously he was only able to substitute the “t” sound. Liam’s intelligibility increased dramatically in a few shorts months.
A year later, I again called upon Amy’s expertise when my daughter’s pre-school suggested that we seek an evaluation with a speech language therapist. Claire was about a year younger than my son when we started the evaluation and process of obtaining serviced from our town school district. Her issues were much more complex (incorrect vowel pronounciation, incorrect pronouns, t/k and d/g, stopping, fronting etc) and the diagnosis from the evaluation indicated that she had a severe articulation disorder. Amy engaged Claire by bringing games which matched her interests (namely, games including cooking, ponies and princesses). Amy provided homework examples that reinforced the particular area that was being worked on. I was always welcome to sit in on the lesson and she took time to show me the technique (oral motor exercise) she was working on and explained how the exercises would support the end goal. Communication is one of Amy’s strengths and I was amazed at how she energized my daughter and encouraged her to succeed. Both Claire and Liam looked forward to Amy’s visits as a fun experience. She made articulation drills a pleasure and rewarded Claire with positive feedback such as stickers and always an upbeat comment (“good job, nice try” etc.). From March to October, Claire made huge strides in overcoming her numerous speech issues thanks to Amy’s positive influence and effective techniques. She is a gifted Speech language therapist, absolutely dedicated to helping her students achieve their potential through play in a positive environment. I would strongly recommend Amy Clayman to any parent who is seeking speech-related help for their child.”
Tara Cullen-McFarland Mother of Claire and Liam
“Our son immediately responded to her caring methods.”
“Amy Clayman is wonderful. Our son immediately responded to her caring methods. He looked forward to each session, and without realizing, he was learning, developing and gaining the confidence needed to overcome his disability.”
"Our son immediately responded to her caring methods."
“She comes with the highest praise from us.”
“As a parent of a child who struggled with speech, you don’t know how valuable someone’s service like Amy’s can be. When we first started seeing her, our daughter, then 2, was shy around strangers because she couldn’t express herself. After just a few short weeks she started warming up to Amy and using the words she was learning. Amy’s genuine love for her kids is amazing. She brought our daughter out of her shell and taught her how to speak. What Amy does for kids is wonderful. She truly cares about you and your child’s speech and helping them learn the fundamentals they need to be able to express themselves. Amy is in a class of her own. She came highly recommended from our Pediatric ENT and we couldn’t agree more. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer her or go back to her if needed. She comes with the highest praise from us. Thanks again Amy!!!”
” I must also add that Shannon has learned to read a lot quicker than my other two daughters at her age.”
‘My daughter, Shannon, attended speech therapy with Amy Clayman of KidSpeak. It was such a fabulous experience for not only Shannon, but for me too! Watching Amy use regular children’s games to teach was truly enlightening. Shannon looked forward to Miss Amy’s house every week. She would wake up each day and ask me if it was ‘Miss Amy Day’. Shannon’s speech improved tremendously as well as her listening and focus.
I must also add that Shannon has learned to read a lot quicker than my other two daughters at her age. Needless to say, I highly recommend Amy Clayman of KidSpeak!”

“Any client and their family would be fortunate to work with her and can expect to see results.”
“Amy Clayman has been an absolute asset and gift to us in our daughter’s journey of resolving articulation issues. Amy came highly recommended from our pediatrician’s office. Her reputation for engaging children through her use of humor and high energy preceded her and couldn’t be more accurate. She displays amazing warmth, positive energy, and patience in every interaction with our 5-year old. Her confidence, skills, and knowledge have brought comfort and affirmation that we are headed in the right direction. Amy’s innovation, creativity, and strategic approach in providing just the right exercise/activity at just the right time have been remarkable. She has raised the bar when it comes to what we now expect from speech therapists. We have greatly appreciated her flexibility. Her follow-up communication has been second to none. Our daughter loves her and we do too. Any client and their family would be fortunate to work with her and can expect to see results. I highly recommend Amy, as words can’t express my gratitude for her help in increasing my child’s ability to be understood. She truly and simply lives up to the name KidSpeak—helping children enhance their ability to express themselves clearly. Many thanks!”

“Amy is very professional and made learning fun for our son. “
“We highly recommend Amy Clayman and Kidspeak for speech and language therapy. Our son worked with her for years. She was consistently proactive with his therapy and his education. Amy was willing to work with our son’s educators at school to help ensure he was getting the support he needed in his classroom environment. She even incorporated his speech and language sessions with his school lessons. Our son thoroughly enjoyed his sessions with her and got so much out of them. Amy is very professional and made learning fun for our son. “
“He has overcome his issues, and caught up to, if not surpassed, most of his peers.”
“From the very first time I spoke with Amy over the phone, I felt confident that she was the one who could help improve my four-year-old son’s speech. She spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone discussing his situation, and because he had reached a point where his self-esteem was being affected, we both felt that therapy was necessary. A year and half later he is a happy, well-adjusted child, who is thriving in school. He has overcome his issues, and caught up to, if not surpassed, most of his peers. Amy is amazing at what she does. She is fun, caring, and patient, and always has a positive attitude. She is extremely easy to work with, and was very supportive of our efforts at home and with the school. Not only did Ethan benefit from her methods, but I learned a lot as well. I always felt very included in the process, which is what I think made it so successful. I can’t say enough great things about her!”
“Our daughter loved going to ‘play with Miss Amy.”
“Amy was great with our daughter who had an articulation delay. She was always excited to see Caroline and made the speech experience fun for a 4 year old. She was always positive. Our daughter loved going to “play with Miss Amy”. As parents we appreciated how much respect Amy had for our daughter. She was always informative and explained what she would be working on that day as well as where the next progression would be. Overall we had a great experience with Amy and highly recommend her for any pediatric speech needs.”

“…my normally shy 6 year old son was feeling like he was at home with his favorite teacher after only one visit.”
“Amy was my son’s speech therapist for the summer of 2011. Amy was extremely professional and so good with children that my normally shy 6 year old son was feeling like he was at home with his favorite teacher after only one visit. My son asked if Amy could be his teacher all of the time. She did extensive upfront research to determine and evaluate what specifically my son needed from her for help between school years. Amy is a wonderful, caring person and I would highly recommend her for any speech or language therapy needs.”
“Ben instantly took to her and they quickly established a great relationship.”
“Ms. Amy is the BEST! We had just moved in the area when we had found out that our 3 year old, Ben had a speech problem. Ben was a little apprehensive about starting speech. Amy was great with him. Ben instantly took to her and they quickly established a great relationship. Amy is a one of a kind speech therapist. She got to know all of Ben’s favorite things and incorporated those things into his speech sessions. He LOVED going to see Ms. Amy. Although, he and Ms. Amy worked hard during their sessions, he always looked forward to playing games with her. He never viewed it as work. Amy offered Ben a safe, loving, and caring environment for Ben to work on his speech. She also helped me navigate the unfamiliar world of speech therapy. She taught me different techniques to use with Ben to help me with his speech “homework” at home. She has an energetic and bubbly personality that kids and adults are drawn to. She is an exceptional speech therapist.”

“Amy was very patient and encouraging. “
Our daughter, Aubrey, had speech therapy with tremendous success. Amy was very patient and encouraging. She taught Aubrey (and taught us) constructive ways to practice at home and to encourage Aubrey to say something again if it wasn’t said correctly the first time. Aubrey loved going to see Amy; now that she is a “graduate,” she misses her. We would strongly recommend Amy without reservation.
